Dear Lessons (Piano Version)

The best thing about music for me right now is how it connects people and touches our emotions. I've been collaborating with producer Morten Jeamland quite a lot now (although time wise not that long yet) and it's amazing how things can work remotely from our own places when there's understanding  between people. He sent me this wonderful remix and we shared lots of ideas for it. I wrote some lyrics, and just experimented with singing. It all came together quite quickly. I still need to upgrade my recording equipment but for now, Morten can skilfully transform and enhance my recordings which is amazing! Thank you once again! Extended version to follow soon so watch this space! :)

We deceive ourselves into believing that time belongs to us.
That immortality hides within our brightest days.
Every happy moment feels eternal.
Every embrace leaves an imprint destined to last forever.

But life slips away in silence.
And what remains are echoes.
Fragments suspended in an ocean of memory.
Faces, voices, laughter…
fade into the distance,
yet never cease to exist.

This is true eternity.
Not in the body.
Not in time.
But in the memories that keep on living.
Even when they become nothing but delicate shadows
whispering in our dreams.

And as we fall slowly into infinity,
with our hearts wrapped in the sweet illusion of never fading,
one question remains.

If our memories last forever,
who will keep them when we are gone?

The Afterlife of Egypt

For this OSC Any Synth Challenge, I chose the PS-3300, a beautiful software emulation of a late 1970s analogue polyphonic synthesizer from KORG. Cherry Audio developed this soft synth. Every sound you hear was created using the PS-3300. I tried to create an overall sound that matches the capabilities of a studio production in 1978. This is in honour of this beautiful synthesizer and its creators.

After the Rain (OSC#198-Cherry Audio PS-3300)

I appreciate all kinds of music and go largely by emotion and mood to select what I listen to. Deep melodic & progressive house soothes my soul and through listening to this genre a lot, I started putting some beats together myself! I enjoy the process very much and hopefully I am progressing by the track.

I love making a connection with nature, visual arts and music and often add nature sounds into my tracks. I also find myself listening to all the sounds in nature with a musical ear now.

I have connected with many talented and passionate musicians recently, many of whom also share similar connection with nature which I find so uplifting. It gives me hope for the humanity.
