With this mix Heidi asks to please learn more about and consider donating to: I would love to highlight a new initiative called Synth Library NYC that I am helping to launch, together with the talented Brooklyn sound artist Cy X.  Synth Library NYC will open in May 2021 as a community education and music hub providing access to synthesizers, modular gear, recording equipment and other electronic musical instruments for people of all experience levels with priority access to BIPOC and those of marginalized genders.  Individuals will be able to ‘check-out’ an instrument and take it home for 3 weeks, just like one would borrow a book from the public library. Synth Library NYC also plans to have virtual and in-person workshops, synth meet ups, collaborative performances and other engagement activities to foster connection and help encourage those with less experience. We are grateful to be consulting with the founders of Fem Synth Lab in Los Angeles who have paved the way in this concept of community building, and Powrplnt, a network of Brooklyn artists dedicated to providing equal access to digital arts education, where we are currently residents. The first space tourist went to orbit in 2001. After 20 years private companies began to offer space flights to anyone who is willing to pay big money.
 Our time became a fantasy movie, where successful flights of people to the Earth orbit opened a new era of commercial space tourism so any person can experience the delight of supersonic flight, weightlessness and the visual beauties of space. But over time number of commercial launches will increase as will the profits of company owners: This will result in a further increase of various objects on the orbit causing concerns among specialists, objects like dead satellites and other space debris remained for years, decades and even centuries, forming entire deadly belt for working spacecraft.  Space debris does not seem dangerous until the realization comes that even in low Earth orbit, about a thousand kilometers above the Earth, such debris can develop a speed of about 36 thousand kilometers per hour: Such speed is hard to imagine in our world - the fastest aircraft has a lot lower speed.  And if we remember that the kinetic energy is proportional to the speed, it becomes clear that the near-Earth space is literally riddled with bullets, which can catastrophically affect space flights and as a result, to the practical impossibility of further space exploration.

Heidi Sabertooth readies ‘Nine Hundred Lives EP’ for New York Trax this January.

Following appearances on Ellen Allien’s UFO Inc and Bpitch Control, Lobster Theremin, and many more, NYC-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer Heidi Sabertooth readies her first appearance on New York Trax this January, turning in a fierce four track EP of gritty hardware techno jams.

Lost Soul Enterprises with Heidi Sabertooth and Mauri M @ The Lot Radio 04 - 05 - 2022

The descendants of Isafrans, Sitais and Finogors began to be called LUMAN, and their country became known as LUMANIA.  They recognized the Moon as their Mother, initially revered their kinship with her.  In the representatives of the Fifth Race of mankind, the genetics of the lunar ancestors actively continued to live.  But, at the same time, the Lumans revered the Sun as the source of life.  At the same time, they knew not only about the Sun shining in the sky, but also about the Great Central Sun of the Universe, about the Inner Central Sun of the Earth.  Gradually, people whose souls came from the higher worlds began to predominate among the Lumanians.  Lumania became a harmonious civilization in which humanistic, divine ideals triumphed.  One of the main goals of the Lumanian civilization was the task of forming a "new man" who would not accept any kind of violence.  The desire to "live in peace" in the people of the dungeons was brought to the level of instinct.

Lumania was a very technologically advanced civilization, they used Sound everywhere: for healing, for moving mountain ranges, for creating artificial seas, in building underground and surface cities, in creating new materials unknown to us, and so on.  The sound, filled with mental images, was the conductor of matter from the fourth dimension - the astral - to the physical world.  The Lumanians had innate psychic abilities, they read knowledge from the Akashic Records - energy vibrations of the subtle planes of being.  they did not violate the ecology of the planet, but rather helped the Earth to evolve and flourish harmoniously.

Lumans were often perceived as victims and even as cowardly people, unable to defend the right to their lives.  Representatives of Lumania were even evaluated as a genetically dead-end branch - precisely because, having refused natural food, they degenerated into an artificial civilization, unable to fight for life and win this struggle.  However, one cannot call cowardly people whose representatives met their death calmly and with dignity, without betraying their ideals and beliefs.  Those citizens of Lumania who remained to live on their land preached the Divine teaching about Love until their last hour.  Wallachian warriors pursued them throughout Asia and executed them without trial or investigation.  Lumans, awaiting execution, sang hymns in which Divine Love for all things, goodness and Light were sung.🙏🏼🔊🌕🌌✨

[AF029] JAMES SHINRA 'REVERIE EP' [2020]

Eris Drew is one of those artists who seemed to blow up over night, but who had actually been hard at work for decades. A long-time residency at Chicago's Smart Bar brought her to international attention, and her own Motherbeat parties at various places around Europe furthered that reputation. It is there that she manages to cook up pure, unadulterated dance floor love and euphoria with hi-energy selections and a unifying sense of oneness that is put together with her own so called “orchestration” mixing techniques. An inquisitive musician and innovative recording artist, she has also just put out her debut solo EP on Interdimensional Transmissions and runs T4T LUV NRG with partner Octo Octa. 

This week's mix is all of the above and more: a throbbing, impulsive and full bodied experience that serves up the most bumping house grooves but run through with the warm ambient glow of a post-rave comedown. The music feels at classic but also thoroughly contemporary: it will make you pump your fist in sheer joy, but also sends warm waves of euphoria through your body. This is the sound of the Motherbeat.

"In a recent interview for DJ Mag I talk about my connection to the song “Secrets of Mediation” by Dutch producers Alex Dijksterhuis (Jamez) & Gaston Steenkist (Dobre). At Chicago raves in 1994 and 1995, this track revealed to me that modern dance music contains archaic ritual elements such as trance-inducing resonances, penetrating sacred drums, and language transformed into glossolalia. My DJ mix for Dekmantel is inspired by my formative dance experiences and by the intense extended sets I play at psychedelic raves such as Motherbeat and No Way Back. The mix includes bass music, progressive, breaks, house, techno, and minimal, all of which I collage, drop and scratch to put us into a tunneling trance."

The name itself carries a very deep meaning for me as it is shared with a film that has a very significant importance in my life.

Well, we all know what happened to the summer of 2020.. instead we gathered in an enchanted land behind the screen, called "The Space Between".

Chats at the beach bar and exploring our dreams underneath the stars.

This was my contribution, a trip through consciousness with eyes wide shut, traveling to the party that could have been.

BIO:
NYC-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer Heidi Sabertooth has a serious love for hardware. Grit-laced drum loops, vintage acid and a tide of unruly sound clatters forth from
her studio. She's been creating her unique brand of electronics since 2012, pushing out beautiful noise, from the delicate to the jarring. She is resident of NYC-based Lost Soul Enterprises, host on The Lot Radio and curator of Bossa Nova Civic Club’s Techno Support Group party. Her highly lauded live hardware performances and vinyl-heavy dj sets have cemented her own place among NYC’s techno community and beyond. She has music releases on Lobster Theremin, UFO Inc., New York Haunted, Lost Soul Enterprises, Kraftjerkz, Dusk & Haze, Blankstairs, Serotonin, Oramics, Fifteen.PM, Cultivated Sound and Motor Records (Seattle), with forthcoming releases on Jacktone and New York Trax.
