I wrote this one for my Little One...my wonderful daughter Laura!

Little one walks in the forest
So happy today
Her feet are still wet from the puddle
Where she stopped to play
Climbed a tree in the meadow
Caught a frog over there
And these are the things that the little one
She wants to share

Little one writes in the classroom
Letters and words
Draws a sweet picture with puppies
Kittens and birds
Skips on the playground
Watches clouds in the sky
And these are the things that the little one
Sees in her life

Mamas and papas
Hold your little ones tight
Hug them and kiss them
Hold on for dear life

Little one under the covers
Whispers good night
Laughing when you say that you hope
The bed bugs won't bite
You read her a story
She drifts off to sleep
