Tilbury was founded by the drummer Thormodur Dagsson (Skakkamange, Jeff Who?, Hudson Wayne) back in the summer of 2010. It was originally a solo project by the name of Formadur Dagsbrunar but quickly evolved when in a search for a band to record the debut album to the band Tilbury.

Tilbury plays dramatic folk pop led by synthesizers by Kristinn Evertsson (Valdimar) and sixties guitar sound by Orn Eldjarn (Brother Grass). Gudmundur Oskar (Hjaltalin) decorates the sound with his French-ish baselines and drummer Magnus Trygvason Eliasen (Sin Fang, Amiina, Moses Hightower) binds it all together with his dynamic drumming.

Tilbury's debut album, Exorcise, was released in May 2012 on Record Records.

Tenant From Zero is Brooklyn based singer and songwriter Paul Darrah. His influences are pretty specific and find a distinct place in his music and vocal style: Everything But the Girl, David Sylvian, The Blue Nile, The Aluminum Group, Prefab Sprout and others. His debut ep The Nape of Your Neck was written and arranged by Paul and produced, engineered and mixed by Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Roman a Clef, Kristin Kontrol). The record mines 'sophistipop' influences to acheive a layered, lush, melancholy, and moody sound.
