Ole Mic Odd is a hardware producer and DJ from Los Angeles. His process is driven by live sets and live recordings, combining elements of acid, techno, electro, ebm, minimal wave and house music. He runs The New U.S. Government label, and has releases on Source Material, Zement, Hilltown Disco, Another Perspective, Natural Sciences, New York Haunted, Nerang Recordings + more.

Completing his third instalment for us we welcome back George Thompson in his Black Merlin guise. George's mixes are always some of our most well received and this one should be no different. Quite unlike most other things you'll hear; which is of course our mission to bring you interesting sounds from way out there. Black Merlin will shortly be releasing an as of yet untitled album via the Indonesian record label, Island of the Gods. Which George recorded in Indonesia featuring Gamelan music and atmospheric recordings of his experiences there.

The second mix of this season's Meta Moto Podcast features Frank Wodorost, a music producer and DJ from Warsaw, Poland. For two years, Frank hosted a radio show on Radio Kapitał, where he showcased independent music, focusing on new wave, synthpop, and experimental genres. To date, he has contributed a track to a compilation by the Warsaw-based collective Narocz 13 and is preparing to release his debut EP. He occasionally performs at venues across Warsaw. This mix highlights artists such as Dollkraut, Bound by Endogamy, C.L.A.W.S., and many other esteemed names.

Extra Blue Ciel cries with joy contemplating the flight of hysterical crows at sunset.
Extra Blue Ciel loves joyful despair and finds joy hopeless.
Extra Bleu Ciel will always be 15 years old in 1981.

"Hypersensible" is the idiosyncratic trace left by individuals oscillating between nightmare reality and waking dream, sailing between naive euphoria and lucid disillusionment, trying to defy fatality and maintain hope, dancing in the pre-diluvian mud of a dying 21st century.

Tribak is excited to present our reissue series, *TimeClapse*, spotlighting the golden era of bedroom producers from 1999-2006 in West Jerusalem. This series will bring to light rare and previously unavailable music, for the first time in digital format.

Floors by Joselito, was originally released in 2006 as a limited CD-R on the now-defunct Agit Pop label. The album seamlessly blends intricate rhythms with haunting vocals and atmospheric soundscapes. Its creation was sparked when Joselito came across a field recording of Yemeni Jewish chants, an experience that deeply influenced his music, driving him to meld ancient traditions with his experimental approach to sound.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Joselito has ventured into numerous creative realms, including visual art, books, and video, always pushing against the boundaries of convention. His work is a reflection of his unique perspective, creating an immersive world all his own, free from the constraints of any particular format.

Floors takes listeners through a vivid journey across four distinct chapters. The opening tracks are charged with energy, blending electronic elements with raw, organic percussion. By the third track, which was re-recorded in 2023, Joselito introduces a reimagined love song inspired by ancient texts, taking its emotional core to new extremes. The fourth track shifts to a slower, reflective rhythm, creating a mysterious, meditative atmosphere. The album concludes with a transformative remix by Ivo.Lola, adding an unexpected new layer to Joselito’s work.

The 2024 reissue features a new cover by Avi Bohbot, incorporating archival documents from Jerusalem, which lend a sense of history and depth to this unique release.

No Hope, No Fear is a new vinyl series in our catalogue combining 4 artists and a nod to the legendary Slovenian band Borghesia and our apocalyptic times.

Swedish duo Harlem Electronics is responsible for the meaty opening track Versausage, where minimal wave meets industrial funk. Fear side is rounded by American Kri family member Ole Mic Odd, returning with his signature haunting electro gloom.

Hope side doesn't necessarily offer hope but sure does help with escapism. Slovenian partner in crime 198319831983 gives an apt comment while twisting electro and EBM on Trustno1. The record finishes on a "high" note with the legendary Cute Heels ft. Duke MC Herton for peak-time club decadence. No Hope, No Fear!

So while they are counting likes and chase the next past hype we still try to focus on the actual essence of the game: music. The limited series of Frustrated Funks ever growing catalog now sees MinimalRome chief Heinrich Dressel explore aquatic territories below the surface of mud streams that rise high in the Apennine Mountains and flow to find their way to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Ancient legends of the Tiber River tell stories like the one of Rome's founders, the twin brothers Romulus and Remus, who were abandoned on it's waters and where they were rescued by a mystic she-wolf. In 2008, Palms, the cross-continental collaboration project between Berlin’s Nadja Korinth and New York’s Ryan Schaefer, released «Der König» on their first album, «It’s midnight in Honolulu». «Der König» is a weird avantgarde post-pop track full of longing, wistfulness, melancholia, and cryptic German-English vocals.  2016 Menqui stumbled over the track on the Austrian social satire series «Altes Geld» and made a few small, respectful adjustments to «Der König».
