Distant from the livesets I play in clubs, I here focus on music I listen to at home, music that gives me a lot of inspiration. In these mixtapes, I try to express my own ideas of musical exploration by layering and mixing sounds, textures, scenes, athmospheres & soundscapes. Playing with tension and relaxation. Unifying ambient, techno, electronic and experimental music. Trying to bring all those beautiful pieces of music together and form them into one ever-evolving but coherent one-hour-story of organized sounds and layers.

Heinrich Lenz is a musician, sound artist and facilitator living in Köln, Germany. His main focus is the creation of music and events for Hypnagogic States, also known as Sleep Concerts. He also produces Ambient and works with sounds and installation. His music is neither fully electronic nor completely physical; as much a story to be told as a canvas for the listeners thoughts and dreams to be projected on.
