Blindsmyth's second album "All That Fiberglass" received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody's favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Leading the charge for „Refiberd Vol. 3" is Norwegian electronic duo Ost & Kjex, who deliver an unexpected banging remix of "Connection Error". Known for their fun-driven yet sophisticated approach to electronic music, Ost & Kjex infuse their remix with a demanding bassline and a relentless energy that will make dancefloors quake with excitement. With their unique blend of techno prowess and subtle pinches of electro and disco, Ost & Kjex's remix of "Connection Error" is a true standout.

Adding a dose of bouncy deep house vibes to the mix, Deep Aztec steps up with a remix of "Delete Your Cloud". The South African-based producer masterfully weaves together melodic basslines, organic percussions, and infectious vocal samples, creating a feel-good and danceable deep house rendition that will keep listeners moving from start to finish.

Last but not least, NORLYZ brings his unique touch to "Uberfahrt" with an electronica/breakbeats version that takes the original track to new heights. NORLYZ's remix is a mesmerizing journey through intricate beats, atmospheric noisy textures, and captivating melodies, seamlessly blending electronica and breakbeats into a sublime and immersive sonic experience.

The Body High co-founder takes you higher. ﻿

A collaboration between Samo Sound Boy and Jerome LOL, Los Angeles' Body High has quietly become one of the US's most rewarding outposts for new house music. Refreshingly unpretentious, they've housed records from up-and-comers (Myrryrs, Jim-E Stack) and innovators (garage legend Todd Edwards, Jersey club king DJ Sliink) alike, as well as providing an outpost for their own productions: Samo and LOL released an album as DJ Dodger Stadium on the label last year, and Samo's own debut album, Begging Please, will be released on April 28.

Described as a "story about the last couple years of my life, told the best way I know how”, Begging Please doesn't spare on the drama or emotion, and it's an attitude that also defines his breathless FACT mix. "I recorded this mix to serve as a preface to my album and give people a little more insight as to my major influences with it", Samo tells us. "As both a DJ and producer, I've really come to prefer emotive and unusual tracks over functional club tools. I like everything to sound like the last scene in a movie, that moment right before the credits start. I'm just trying to stretch that out forever, I guess."

A Moment In Reverie

Time Has Changed is a tech-house label that operates out of France. Their raison d'etre is house music on a grandiose and dancefloor-inclined scale, and their latest release is a case in point from that regard. Always ones to champion new talent, it arrives on our desks thanks to the inimitable works of the Cosmic Cowboys, an Italian pair whoâ€™ve previously released on Time Has Changed and also boast credits for the likes of Superfiction and Bedrock.

It all gets under way courtesy of title track, â€˜â€™Perseusâ€™â€™. As dramatic a track as youâ€™re likely to stumble over this side of 2015, itâ€™s full of elongated plays and raw, dramatic sweeping synths of the sort that you canâ€™t help but be bowled over by. If youâ€™re out this weekend to leave your audience in raptures, then this one should do very nicely indeed. In a just world, itâ€™ll have dancefloors trembling in Europe and beyond this summer. 

Betokoâ€™s remix isnâ€™t bad either. The sometime Diynamic man has made a career out of such sprightly tech-house gems, and he reminds us of his talents thanks to a remix that loses much of the originalâ€™s full-on vibes but cleverly replaces them with a more supple and subtle re-working.

Having already gained support from the likes of Dixon, Ame and Red Axes, Scatcity Records' latest offering from Ivory is already on the way to cause a serious stir this summer. 
Opening up with the title track, 'Mindfulness', Ivory lays down a crunchy synth roller, overlapped against a range of warm and bright melodic chord sequences, before throwing you back into a deep groove.
Moving on to 'Quiet In Her Shadow', elusive synth line Minimalistic percussive elements, progressive with teasing chordal changes and ever developing reverb echoes.
On the flipside, 'Everything Is Illuminated' is a force to be reckoned with, as deep and eerie drone synth bounce up the menacing chugs of drum and bass line.
Floyd Lavine steps up to close the EP, with his take on Mindfulness; rounding off with a calmer experience, as enriched saw synths ease you off into the sunrise, rounding off another spectacular release from the Scatcity crew.
