GNSR is a newcomer straight from Berlin. He first got in touch with electronic music some years ago when he was organizing off location raves in Berlin and Brandenburg. He was always connected to the scene in many was, but since a while he got more interested in becoming a dj and developing his skills in mixing Hard Techno, Hard Melodic Techno and Industrial Techno. He has a passion for layered kicks, detuned basslines and a trancy touch in his podcasts and dj sets. 

GNSR takes his first steps in producing too and is more than interested in where this journey take hin.

GNSR is a newcomer straight from Berlin who has a passion for layered kicks, detuned basslines and a trancy touch in his dj sets. He is mainly mixing Hard Techno, Hard Groove and Industrial Techno but is also influenced by other genre like Schranz and Rave. GNSR is always trying to keep eyes and ears on new upcoming stuff which he combines for a powerful impact on the dancefloor.

Following a short break, we're returning with our podcast series, which has undergone a petite upgrade in the new year thanks to our design fairy, Asya.

We couldn't have asked for a better guest for this new format than our long-time supporter and friend, Sebi aka Separat [@separatdj], who is one of the founders of the Brandwerk project. A vinyl-only DJ spreads his talents between impeccable music taste, masterful mixing, scenography, and music curation. As you are listening to this, the people in Gaza are listening to the sound of genocide as the terror state of Israel carpet bombs hospitals, mosques, schools, refugee camps and other clear cut civilian targets while the elected leaders of the western world watch in silence.

Let it be known that in November 2023 when this mix came out more than 11.000 Palestinians including more than 4500 children were slaughtered by the fascist Israeli regime in the live streamed attacks on Gaza. At this point in time, it’s been more than a month of full-scale intentional genocide and documented war crimes and the western world has yet to condemn it and take action to push for ceasefire and negotiations to end the cycle of bloodshed due to the decade long violent occupation of Palestine.

To everyone following and listening to this, please speak up, read about and share what is happening, write your government representatives, attend protests, make noise and choose humanity and call for an end to this. This mix is intended as some sort of despair release - at least this is what that sounded like on the day of recording for me. It’s giving “angry, but hopeful”. Use it to fuel the outrage you should be feeling and channel that into action.

"I’ve been really enjoying playing ‘Bloom’ from up and coming Berlin producer Symbolism on PTHM recently. It’s an immersive and rolling techno track with a dark and dub’y atmosphere. You hear a bit of the dub sound coming back at the moment which is nice, but this is the way I like it over the more chord driven dryer sounding stuff. It’s quite versatile, intriguing and very adaptable for DJ’ing with."
