Shirakaba (White Birch) ver.2. This is one of pieces which are related to a memory of my friend, who encouraged me so much when I was a student in a university and was suffering from many things. He passed away when he was a graduate school student. I visited Sapporo, a big city in northern part of Japan, which is his hometown, to attend a conference. In Sapporo I saw many white birches with pale green leaves and white trees, which reminded me a memory of him.
