Taking our inspiration from daily life and the sounds of Aaron Spectre's You Don't Know, Atari Teengae Riot, Sublime and the Pixies we combine political satirical lyrics whit loud beats - then add a melody layer of opera vocals and violin.

Tanner One, The Rowdy Hoodrat. That artist formally known as Phase One. 

One half of The Labrats. 

I started playing raves in Sydney back in 1998 playing mostly old skool hardcore / breakbeat etc. Moving onto Hard House through to 2006.... Fantasia, Liberation, Eckythump, Hyperspeed, Utopia, Godspeed, Mystic, Scattered etc... as well as promoting my own such as CodeRed, Rave In A Box, part of the team that did Dreamworx etc. 

Then I had a break. A long arsed break. 

And then in 2012 the passion to actually play out at gigs re-ignited and I began promoting and DJing again this time, as Tanner One covering the hard dance spectrum playing mostly UK Hard Trance and Hard House, along with my partner in crime Nuke Lukem as THE LABRATS, as well as promoting our SCIENCE nights... 

And as The Rowdy Hoodrat covering my original love for all the breaks, drum n bass and funk based music.
