Imagine if Tim Burton asked Kate Bush to create a song cycle with Danny Elfman and commissioned Bjork to produce it.

Croatian-born, London-based Helena spent her childhood giving classical recitals around the world, blissfully unaware of pop, until a chance conversation with a lecturer inspired her to set a poem to music. For the rest of her degree Helena hid in her bedroom, channelling Kate Bush, Danny Elfman and Bjork to create her eerie piano pop songs.  

Breaking free of the classical world, Helena’s eerie piano fairy tales have been featured on BBC 6 Music Introducing, Dandelion Radio and an Audio Antihero compilation with artists such as Jeffrey Lewis, Diane Cluck and Darren Hayman.
