Defying trends while being perfectly in tune with the times is not a feat that comes easy. @jiminxir (pronounced Jimi Noir) makes it seem like it is. His spell-binding voice and remarkable talent as a songwriter comes with a unique sonic vision that puts the 21-year-old in a league of his own. 

Upon graduating from the Red Bull Music Academy in 2013, the New York-based artists has unleashed a series of astounding tunes - each decidedly singular - making us expect big things from his upcoming 'GXLD' EP. His cut "Since September" is a self-produced, sultry fall hit that has the power to act as substitute for the fireplace on those cold nights.

“Eve of Sophia”

This track tells the story of Sophia, the eternal embodiment of wisdom, versus Eve, her shadow reflection. Sophia is the unshakable source of divine knowledge, serene and radiant, while Eve represents a diluted echo, misrepresented and confined by myth. Through whispered truths, flowing waters, and celestial rhythms, the track portrays Sophia reclaiming her voice through Eve, guiding her steps and restoring the divine feminine power. It’s a meditation on truth overcoming distortion, the shadow cannot silence the light. The music reflects this contrast: soft yet assertive, reflective yet unstoppable, G-Funk smoothness meeting drill tension to echo the unseen war of wisdom and its imitation.

The sun paints a warm glow that stretches across the afternoon sky
I try to play it cool
