@sonic_resistance is a Vienna-based team, organised by 3 Ukrainian Djs and Producers: Nizar Sarakbi (@nizar-sarakbi) , Katia Curie (@katia-curie) and Boris Vinarsky(@vinarsky13). One year ago they have launched an independent musical platform and started to host self-titled party’s in Europe, supporting different artists.

As the son of an accomplished jazz guitarist and a pop singer, Lisene (Marlon Morris) was brought up surrounded by a wide spectrum of music from an early age. Growing up in the cultural melting pot of Brixton, his exposure to DIY soundsystem culture, as well as his own musical experimentations with family and friends, naturally lead to an interest in both the scientific and musical side of studio work.
After relocating to Leeds to study audio engineering, he released two records on the then-unknown but now highly sought after 'day by day' label, informed by 90s techno, IDM, and trance.

This was followed by a collaboration with his friend of over 15 years Adam Pits, with their first release as Space Cadets on Seven Hills picking up a huge amount of attention and landing them a string of gigs across both the UK and EU. No stranger to burning the midnight oil to hunt for tracks, Lisene's record bag is of the highest standard, diverse and full of surprises. Channelling the spirit of the 90s through the sound of the future via a stash of 12" obscurities that would be the envy of a collector twice his age, his sets flit around the psychedelic fringes where techno, trance, breaks and electro meet, weaving together a sonic tapestry far greater than the sum of its parts.
He displayed all of this next to astronauts like No Moon, Peach, Objekt, D.Tiffany and plenty of other space explorers.

With multiple Space Cadets EPs and his own work about to launch on some of the biggest labels in the scene, as well as his sublime collaborative project On Rotation catching absolute fire with their second release by Solar Suite just out including a Roza Terenzi Remix. The Dutch West Coast scene is as fabled as Detroit techno and Chicago house. And Intergalactic Gary − a DJ for 35 years − has been involved with it since day one. The cult selector had a residency at The Hague's first ever house club in 1992 and since then has honed a style that has lead the legendary I-F to call him ‘terminator’ such is the focus he has on the decks.
Whether working you into a trance or keeping you guessing with improbable bridges between raw acid, 70s Italo or fresh techno, he's a flawless, instinctive DJ who is predictably unpredictable. Whether new or old, Gary doesn't care, “as long as it has character and something interesting going on that grabs the attention.

His music has been released on labels such as: Bio Rhythm, Dalmata Daniel, And has an upcoming release on Netherlands based label Viewlexx

Younger Than Me started it’s journey as a duo back in 2016, but a couple of years ago it turned to a solo project lead by Italian Francesco Mingrino with a home base in Berlin. With critically acclaimed releases on labels like Bordello A Parigi, Amsterdam-Utrecht based platform XXX, Rotterdam’s Bar and Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno - Francesco also founded his own 90’s Wax imprint in 2017. Since then he delivered both solo EPs and collaborations with the likes of Skatebård, Francesco Farfa and Timothy Clerkin. 90’s Wax operates as a sub-label of Tusk Wax and Francesco happens to be a co-owner of the parent label as well. 

Offering a modern take on 90’s influenced progressive house, trance, EBM, breakbeat and techno - 90’s Wax pretty much defines Italian’s love for contemporary influences of club music and rave culture in general.  Having founded a new DJ and production collaboration with Curses named Y2C - a project born during corona times and which sees the pair deliver their own version of “rave wave” pairing together their love for 80s new wave and 90s rave - the duo’s fresh “Still there” EP is available now through Live at Robert Johnson label.

Тож вийшов досить драматичний мікс: десь я відчуваю пошук, дослідження (як спочатку), потім перешкоди, через які треба пройти, далі здається, що все вдається, потім настає відчуття тривоги, навіть страх;, а наприкінці основна емоція — надія. Все як у житті. Я взагалі завжди намагаюся будувати композицію так, щоб сюжетна лінія тягнулася від початку до кінця, і щоб музика мене чомусь навчила: десь вона дає мені змогу розслабитися на кілька хвилин, а десь мене за щось карає».

So a rather dramatic mix turned out: somewhere I feel a search, an exploration (as at the beginning), then obstacles that have to be overcome, later everything seems to work out following a feeling of anxiety, even fear, and at the end, the primary emotion is hope. Everything is like life. I’m always trying to compose a track in a way the storyline stretches from the very beginning to the end, and the music itself could teach me something: somewhere it allows me to relax for a few minutes, and somewhere it punishes me for something’

DTF MAGAZINE MIX / 13 — EAZY

The Colombian duo Dei Funk is run by two friends who have been sharing their love for electronic music since their teens, Erich Joseph and David Finkelman Sánchez. Both artists have been living in Berlin for more than 10 years and are involved in the club and music scene with personal projects in other genres. Their passion for House and electronic music brought them together as Dei Funk. 

This mix is a live recording of an opening set for a club night, keeping a steady tempo between 120-122 and showcasing dubby and minimal house with a soft but sexy vibe. All you need to get in ambience and start moving your feet when arriving at the venue. The mix was done with productions by nthng, Dj Qu, Joey Anderson, Levon Vincent and Audio Soul Project.
