Mindless Self Indulgence (également abrégé MSI) est un groupe américain de New York, difficilement classable dans un genre particulier: le mélange des genres musicaux est important. À la base, on peut dire que c'est un mélange de industriel, electro, punk. (Généralisé, c'est un groupe rock). Ce groupe se distingue par ses paroles fortes parlant beaucoup de sexe (Pussy All Night, Get It Up ...) ou de drogues (Cocaine And Toupees), et lors de leurs concerts où ils frôlent l'hystérie.

The Neon Handshake is the debut album by London band Hell is For Heroes. The CD was released in February 2003 on Chrysalis Records. It was named Rock Sound magazine ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Later, in 2005, readers of Kerrang! magazine voted The Neon Handshake the 58th best British rock album of all time. The Neon Handshake is one of, if not the most siminal British post-hardcore records of the 00's.

The album was recorded in Los Angeles, Sound City Studios, produced by Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lovstrom, who also produced The Shape Of Punk To Come, by Refused.
