The band was formed at the initiative of Echivoc (vocals) and Vârcolac (guitar) who shaped the first Signatura Rerum's songs. Lyrics are based on fantasy. Our first song ”Muntele Înghețat” talks about a ”frozen god” from a mountain. In this song, people's struggle and pain is well outlined on their road to find the "Frozen God". 

The name Signatura Rerum was inspired from one of Jacob Boehme's books. It means "The signature of all things". The band takes just the title of the book: a concept, in which every object from the real world has a hidden meaning and that all these signatures are interconnected.

The band self-released their first album: "In Sfarsit ..." on 1th August 2013

In 4th of September 2017 Signatura Rerum announced their second album entitled: "The Legend 1". 8th of September, they release a lyric video for "Rise and Fall part 2". "The Legend 1" is a start of a trilogy that is based on a fantasy universe, created entirely by the band. "The Legend 1" is set to release on 13th of October 2017.

lasthopewindow formed as an idea to make a conceptual musical project, that will take it self somewhere else then ordinary music.

~ The Story of Ligeia's Cadence:

Ligeia's Cadence is a conceptual art project. Producer/Musician/Engineer Scott Tipton created a fictional character named Ligeia. Her story is told through original music, photography and video. Scott creates each piece of music and video centered around the 'suicide??' of Ligeia. While falling to her death, her mind rapidly focuses on the most important moments in her past. Each of those moments are individual songs. Each song is a short story which reflects every emotion she's felt, from peaceful bliss to horrible agony. Each album release is a chapter in series, containing 10 volumes. This is the story of Ligeia, a girl orphaned from her family after a terrible tornado kills her mother and father. From birth she searches for clues to her existence and experiences life though blood stained eyes. We begin the story at the very moment Ligeia leaps from the tallest building in the town. Her soul is bruised and beaten. Her will is broken. She makes her final choice and proceeds to step off of the ledge...

But this is only the beginning...
