I said this in the youtube upload, so i'll just say it here. Undertale means a lot to me, because if it weren't for it. I wouldn't have met someone who I consider a brother, and a best friend to me, shade. Its funny to think it all started with me simply asking him to do a cover of a south park megalo i had and it began as a great longing friendship. Undertale is more than just a game to me, its what gave connections to people i never knew possible and i'm forever grateful for that.

Happy birthday, Undertale.

A long time ago, there was a project dedicated to getting everyone to pitch in to cover the entire Undertale soundtrack, one person per song. Everyone was randomly assigned a number between 1 and 100, with MEGALOVANIA being reserved for a specific individual who was a pretty notable kingpin in the community at the time. Somehow, I rolled number 71, and was thus assigned the cover of "Undertale".

The cover, which was admittedly much more of a reimagining, never went public as the project never ended up getting far enough for it. I wanted to take this opportunity to finally show this cover to the world, though with a bit of a modern Toadie flair to it. Compositionally it's pretty much exactly what the cover used to sound like, it's just got better instrumentation and mixing.

I've got a lot more thoughts about... well, just about everything that's happened since this wonderful game reached me. Too much, and frankly a little too personal, to just put in the description. Instead, I've prepared and will be adding to this document.

Hello everyone!!

I can't believe it honestly, 10 years... Undertale is now 10 flipping years old, isn't that crazy??

I discovered Undertale when I was around 9 or 10 years old and is one of the main reasons I wanted to start making music in the first place. Undertale has helped me through my dark moments in life and showed me how important it is to stay positive towards yourself and others. 

Thank you Toby Fox, for creating some of the best moments in my life..

UNDERTALE. 
A game that I cannot begin to describe with words. It's an experience, something that sticks with you for a long time. It teaches you that not everything has to resort to violent acts, that everything is possible with the power or LOVE.
I owe it all to this game, for it is the sole reason I find myself in the position I am today. It is through this game that I have met so many wonderful people that I am proud to call my friends.
This community has had its' ups and downs, but it really shows how much this game thrives, even after 10 years.
Discussing the game, sharing fan-content that people end up cherishing for days on end, coming up with silly theories, making AUs. Those are all things that resulted off a game made in a basement. So, much like last year's anniversary post, I want to deeply thank Toby Fox for creating UNDERTALE, for without him, we wouldn't be here. 
Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this rendition of Hopes and Dreams. I had fun making it.
