Greyscale's 114th edition of their Mood Series introduces a promising newcomer to the label, Psycho Panther, with his debut album titled Eclectic. The album presents a diverse collection of tracks that were not originally intended to coexist in the same project, yet they seamlessly blend together to form a cohesive listening experience.

The album opens with 'I Guess So,' a chord-driven, techy track that sets the tone with its ominous atmosphere. The distant jet rocket-like chords evoke a feeling of uncertainty and resignation, perfectly capturing the internal struggle of reluctantly fulfilling commitments. Next is 'Pseudo-live,' a hypnotic journey into the depths of dub-techno. Its atmospheric soundscape and introspective mood offer a moment of respite before transitioning into 'Then Fly' which delivers a spatially deep techno with melodic chords that inspire a sense of hope and freedom. The track's metaphorical message encourages listeners to trust in themselves and take a leap of faith, symbolized by the act of learning to fly.

From the ominous tones of 'I Guess So' to the uplifting melodies of 'Then Fly,' the album takes listeners on a captivating journey through diverse styles and attitudes. Deep Electronics Podcast # 185 - LUSS - Misty Skies EP Mix (Live Set)

Starting off a new feature on the blog this first podcast has a selection of some of my favourite tracks from the last month and a bit. I wanted to do something a bit more with my ‘Pick of the week’ feature on the blog so I’ve decided to turn it into a podcast to showcase some of my favourite tracks.

If you want to send me your tracks to be featured on future podcasts I’ll happily give your tracks a listen as long as its deep electronic music I don’t really care what genre, I’ll try to fit a bit of everything in (even if it does muck up the mixing and tempo)

I have been trying sort out a few problems with recordings and my pc, this is my first recording since I come back from travelling last year so the mix is a little rough around the edges, still getting use to the levels with my behringer uca222 interface.
