Sound artist poropiore is releasing his first album under a new name, oz-chan.

poropiore, a Japanese sound artist who designs spatial soundscapes using his own voice as a material, has worked on numerous acoustic designs for architecture and commercial facilities both in Japan and abroad. This album marks his first dance music work and his first album to be made available for general sale.

This work, centered on the label's concept of "space," expands into an auditory cosmos created by oz-chan. The core of the album is his unique theme: "sound that revolves and expands." His distinctive sound style, where individual notes connect and move like a spiral, weaves throughout the entire album.

While grounded in familiar genres such as deep house, techno, new age, and ambient, the beautifully delicate yet powerful rhythms and unique sounds created from his own voice build a world unique to oz-chan.

About Cold Tear Records:

Cold Tear Records is an electronic music label that specializes in dub techno, deep techno and ambient music. The label was founded in 2010 by Evaldas Azbukauskas, an electronic music producer from Lithuania known as Giriu Dvasios, Tamsis, 101 and SoulSonic. The motivation behind starting the label was to create a platform to release founder’s own music, but also other talented artists. Today Cold Tear Records is a well established label in the dub techno scene and the most active and productive label in Lithuania.

I feel humble and honoured to be featuring this special mix which is a tribute to his mother who sadly passed away recently.     This set is full of warmth , depth and emotion and has beauty throughout.    Peace and love x

My mother joined my father in the afterlife on July 4th, 2018. They now rest peacefully together. This mix is my tribute to them. The music poured from my fingers as my tears dropped onto the controls. I will love and miss them forever. The photo shown is American Basin/Handies Peak in Lake City, Colorado, where we’ve visited for over 30 years as a family. Now, their ashes are together on the mountainside as one ❤
This mix is the deepest, most emotional, and most personal of my career. The experience I felt while recording was supernatural, as if my parents where there with me helping me select the tracks one by one.
