Departures is such an appropriate title for this EP, as not only is this a departure from what many have come to expect from André but also these songs really take you on a journey that is a departure from your daily concerns. 

When I was asked to do a painting for the cover, I wanted to capture the idea that the song has always been playing & always will be playing, and we just happen to be catching a small sliver of it. I hope when viewing the art that it takes you closer to the music, not further away.

The songs are a mix of sonic bliss & melancholy, with very memorable melodies. 

Don’t be surprised if “Departures” brings you right back to your center.

Like his previous venture, the clue to the style is in the title and "Verseput" is a floaty, ethereal techno groove. On "Dichtheid", Dublin mines the influence of Rhythm & Sound with toasted chords shot through with buzzing riffs over a dance hall groove.
