Welcome to a brand new chapter of Deep Electronics. The serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music.  For this chapter I invited Armin Bender to the channel. Sharing his deepness and rhythmic  dubtechno sessions with a touch of more housy vibe. 

About:

Armin Bender is a dub techno DJ and a producer from Erlangen, Germany.  Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... No more words necessary, no history, no credits, no stereotypes, just the music that  he loves. His love for vinyl is always hearded in his mixes. Authentic, pure and nostalgia. Biography: 
Kostas Staikos (aka Substak). Greek electronic music producer, was born and raised in the city of Athens. The start of his journey into music began at 2011 when decided to escape a bit from real life & started mixing and producing. His music genres include: Ambient, Dub, Dub Techno, Minimal & Minimal Techno. Over 15 years of production, Kostas has released more than 200 releases on various thematic labels.

This time, Kostas is back with a new conceptual mix, recorded only from our label's tracks.

A deep immersion into the [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB]. The cold of the Siberian vastness meets the pulsing echo of dub techno. Only original sound, born in the very heart of the permafrost. Enjoy listening!

For the next episode of The Frontier we welcome Vincent Raude, Who has released music under a variety of alias , but is probably best know for his work as - Upwellings

  In his own word - “Upwellings is a project trying to explore the possibilities of dub in the minimalist techno environment”

Upwellings has been releasing music since around 2008 and has become a true stable of the Dub Techno scene. He is an incredibly consistent artist having carved out a unique deep atmospheric sound, his records never leave our bags. His level of consistency and quality have rewarded him with releases on some of the best Dub Techno labels around, his release on Greyscale - Lark Dub / Fed on Dub is a release that particularly stands out. He has also worked a lot with the spclnch lads and had some beautiful releases.   

For his Frontier mix, Vincent has presented a Hybrid Dj mix, working with Ableton, the mix is comprised of purely his own Upwellings tracks. It’s a near 2 hour journey that mutates and develops perfectly throughout. It really shows the depth of his creativity.   

We are thankful to have been able to work with Vincent and be able to showcase his music.

Armin has been into techno for over 30 years. He started DJing in the 90s and he still plays his (often) 5h+ sets mainly with Vinyl. His mixes are always a journey through the deeper areas of the techno and house universe, combining new and classic tunes from artists of several sub-genres like dub house, deep house, dub techno, (ro-)minimal, detroit, acid, electro, breaks.
Since the early 2000 years he´s active in the scene in and around Erlangen / Nuremberg (Germany) as a member of the local Electronic Music Collective "STRONG SIGNALS".

Biography: 
Sonic Buckwit is an electronic producer from Chelyabinsk. He's been making music since the late '90s: he started with two tape recorders, a microphone, and inspiration from The Prodigy's "The Fat of the Land." He progressed through metal, alternative rock, and pop before settling into electronic music and techno. These days, he's focused on dub sounds: he can spend days stuck on a single track until he realizes everything he hears inside and feels it "sounds just like it should," after which he releases it. For a long time, Sonic Buckwit wrote for himself and didn't think about releasing anything, but in 2022, inspired by Anton Kubikov's music, he sent his material to Greyscale and, instead of a single track, debuted as a full-length EP. Since then, his releases have been released on the [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Superordinate and Crossfade labels. In his music, he reflects on the universe, quantum physics, the nature of consciousness, and the impact of artificial intelligence on people's lives.
