Rado Ka (DeziBell) - Dj Profile

Rado Klinec, known by his Dj name Rado Ka, has been contributing to the musical scene in Slovakia since 1996. 

For many reasons and one of them being the great passion for the music, he started off as a hip-hop Dj. Throughout the years he organized many events and concerts, where he usually played his sets and showed the people what he loves, thus supporting the artists and mainly the local scene – not for the
fame or financial benefits but for the love of it. He visited Vienna often to see his favorite artists perform live. As the time passed, he came to the point, when he realized that people weren’t appreciating the real (old and classic) stuff anymore and the community shrank to the point, that he decided to end his Dj career in 2010.

Before that he already started to discover the deep waters of conscious electronic music. Digging, finding out the facts and discovering more about
sounds he had missed out on before, it became a kind of an obsession and there was really a lot to absorb. The breaking point came with the band Freak Power and the names Kruder & Dorfmeister and
Makossa & Megablast. Swound Sound sessions broadcasted on FM4 became his main source of inspiration. He started to visit Vienna again because of music and slowly dove in into the Vieneese scene.

In December 2012, Rado Ka was playing his first comeback set in his hometown Banska Bystrica at Carovna Tea house, right after the energetic set
of Megablast, (accompanied by OG Spiritual Godess and live percussions)which presented a great challenge. Getting recognition from the artist he
admired the most gave him the power and energy to keep on track and to never give up on his dream, which is to inspire people through music.

Furthermore, Rado Ka started to be recognized and began to bring excitement
and joy through music at Nu Spirit Bratislava and places like Radost Bratislava, UHU Club Bratislava, Centrum Music Club, Carovna Tea house, CNK Zahrada in Banska Bystrica, Die Kantine, Volksgarten, Vienna City Beach Club,  Summer Station Donauinsel, AU and Aux Gazelles in Vienna and Airport Clubbing, Bohol Halle Flugplatz Punitz.

As Rado Ka is always trying to bring something unique and never accepted mediocrity, he decided to cooperate with the former director of Janacek
Philharmonic Orchestra in Ostrava (Peter Krajniak), who accompanied him during his sets with an improvised violin. For the purpose of this and other
future cooperation with various artists he created the brand ikon:ic+, which is slowly growing in Slovakia. In summer 2013 he managed to book Megablast for the live act at Grape festival (2nd biggest festival in Slovakia) together with OG
Spiritual Godess, Sugar B and Christian Einheller, being also a part of their support team.

The bonds with the Luv Lite Recordings became naturally stronger and Rado Ka is considered as an official part of the wonderful Luv Lite family.
In November 2013, he was given an opportunity by the musical director of austrian FM4, to record an exclusive Dj set for him and this set was broadcasted
in the 887th issue of Swound Sound. Rado Ka left his footprint in this iconic programme, founded in 1992, which has many listeners in different parts of the
world.

His passion for music is growing every single day and will undoubtedly lead to more Dj sets and even productions in the future. Nothing can stop him from
fulfilling his musical dream as he is the lucky one to have the most inspiring people around – the people that showed him love (Luv) and light (Lite).
