Smooth was established by Marco Köller from Wuppertal (Germany) in 2006 to seperate the progressive flavoured output from his other musical projects and to dive a little deeper into sounds and other musical genres. Meanwhile, Smooth has become a project for research in Dubtechno, Deep House, Garage House, UK House, Progressive, Drum&Bass and 2-Step, as these styles have been important influences in the bygone years. Marco Köller started DJing back in 1989 and producing in 1994, and since that time, he moved in many electronic music genres. Beside producing, mastering, sound design and graphic design, he operates the non-commercial audio netlabel CYAN that he founded together with Jaja.

This truly is a great honor, since I´ve been a listener of Dewtone Radio from day one, and still am a big fan. Dustin´s taste for Ambient, Electronica and Deep Dub Tech House at his radio station and same-titled Label still pleases me to this day! I am a big fan.
