Welcome to Episode 185 on Poisonoise Music with this session coming over from Dutch based artist Julius.
My first experience with Julius was a gorgeous dub techno set he put together on the wonderful Deep Electronics label around
2016, and i have been an admirer of his sound ever since!  
As per his bio, he likes to mix both old and new tracks to keep his mixes interesting and he has done just that here, with this 80 minute mix showcasing some excellent deep and dubby sounds.

This occurred when Rodney from the Woods attended an event a couple months back and got in touch with the friendly Julius, who appears to be a huge contributor to the scene and, above all, a likeminded soul to the Stately sound. 

Having spent years collecting records and being a dedicated admirer to the scene, Julius has over time mastered the craft himself as well, which he proves by delivering this stellar mix to our podcast series. It’s safe to say that this is one of the highest quality mixes on our channel so far.

Recorded at home using a Xone 92 and a pair of Technics SL1210MK2s, the set flows through deep selections from releases like ALT001, BERGAMON15, WRSR1, ECHOLTD010, and more—warm, textured, and true to the genre's roots.

Julius has been collecting records for years, digging mostly online, and channeling that passion into carefully woven vinyl sets.

Me and Jeroen from Deep Electronics first connected online eight years ago and met in person by coincidence at De Weide Festival in Alkmaar last year.
Looking forward to crossing paths again at this year's edition.
