About Mort:

Son of a former drummer, vinylist Mort a.k.a. Mortimer got hooked on electronica in 1994 listening to the likes of FSOL, The Orb on MTV, soon after he attended his first rave in the same year. His mind was blown, first direct drive turntable was bought and the rest is history. Influenced by almost all and any escapist/edgy subcultures and tribes like rave, ambient, acid, hardcore, London's early tech house scene (Eukatech, Swag, The End), electro, detroit, progressive house, breaks, tribal.  He doesn't care much about the nowadays fancy "house & techno" labels, he aims to take you on a journey of locked grooves, either you feel it (you get lost) or you should get lost.
