With the BALLROOM label we fulfill our desire to put out our own music and that of our artists of BALLROOM booking agency for full musical freedom and expression. This means we are not following one musical route or style but bring on the full spectre of techno music. With BALLROOM 001, the 3 tracker “Phangan” EP by us, Kaiser Souzai, we are setting a benchmark for trippy, haunting annd bouncy techno, inspired by the jungles and outdoor parties of Ko Phangan. This will be followed by a 4 tracker EP from our artist Josh Vox, with an almost progressive and dark haunting techno release. Teaming up : Kaiser Souzai & Alberto Ruiz. 

Ballroom Records deliver once again on quality techno with a well matched collaboration between Spanish techno mastermind, Alberto Ruiz and rising Berlin duo, Kaiser Souzai - dropping exclusively on Beatport 21st September and at all other stores on 5th October is 'Tarzan'. 

Clashing ride symbols, tribal percussions and repititive synths make up this addictive synth led monster that continuously builds, opens and develops into a momentous dance floor killer.

Beatport techno chart king Alberto Ruiz is a perfect addition to Ballroom, with his productions heavily supported by the likes of Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Solomun (to name only a few). Having produced and remixed with artists such as Monika Kruse, Coyu, Noir and Pig&Dan, Alberto's recognition within the genre is second to none.

Teaming up with Ruiz are label bosses Kaiser Souzai, techno tastemakers in their own right who have steadily built up a name within the Berlin techno arena. Having already dropped releases on Trapez, Go Deeva, Subliminal and Kinetica and remixed Booka Shade, Dave Seaman and Olivier Giacomotto, the duo have created an outlet for their creativity and on point taste in music with Ballroom Records.

Wild, open and upfront, 'Tarzan' will sweep techno lovers of their feet and into an undergrowth of hard hitting drums; primal instincts taking over.

Aleja Sanchez is a Colombian DJ and producer, who has shared cabin not only in her natal Bogota with some international names including Ricardo Garduno, Inside Out, Drumcell and Troy Pierce among others, has been invited to play in some of the most important cities all over Colombia because her quality skills to perform cutting-edge techno music. As producer, this talented young but charmy artist has signed own productions to some well known labels such as Planet Rhythm, True Type Tracks, Etichetta Nera, Subraum Records, Labrynth, Illegal Alien Records to name a few, previously featured on her monthly Transgressions Podcast. Currently, prepares her first releases on vinyl, through Nachtstrom Schallplatten and Illegal Alien Records.

Emanuele Pertoldi was born in a small village in the North East of Italy. Since he was a child he had a strong passion for music and it became stronger and stronger. He took a degree in Modern Music - Music Production in Bologna.
Sound research, creativity and passion are the keys of his tracks.
In 2013 he started a new alias, S/EXP (Shaded Explorer), with the aim to represent himself in a more intimate way. The description of the project says: "S/EXP lives in a place where the music is hidden behind a dense fog and dreams are suffocated by an unpromising reality. This stimulates him to continue his research of magical places around the world, being them ethereal landscapes, deep cenotes or blue seas. In those places he discovered and created new sounds, melodies and rhythms that melted together create soundscapes for escape."The first release is an album on Eclipsemusic that was also played live by him (just with hardware) at Club To Club in Turin, one of the most representative festivals in Italy. Following this concept in 2014 he founded his own intimate imprint Shaded Explorations.
Now he's one of the great mask of ambient music and deep sounds, especially after the release on Silent Season and Kabalion Records.
