My next guest is Echology, a music producer and DJ from Mielec, Poland. 
Echology is specialised in dub techno, ambient, deep techno and  genres of deep electronics. 

Besides self-publishing music, he has released tracks on labels such as Drift Deeper, Scale Limited, Crossfade Sounds, Apnea, hello strange, Techenie, insectorama. 

Having a background as a bass player, he tends to favour productions with deep and emphasised basslines and puts major focus on rhythm. 

Working daily as a musician and sound engineer, Echology tends to experiment with sonics, tonality and rhythm in ways that overcome boundaries. 

He adapted an old school method of composing, using a mixture of hardware synthesizers and drum machines, guitar pedals, mixing console and DAW. Thus, his performances are never the same and each jam is unique and spontaneous.

In his DJ sets Echology pursues the same goal - deep and groovy bassline intertwine with soft yet punchy kick drums. Not straying from slower and softer grooves, his main focus are danceable dubbed out tunes invoking dreamlike audio mirage. 

Being a big time fan of old school Jamaican roots dub reggae, you can often hear some roots vocals in his selections.

This set is no exception to all above, so brace yourself for a trip into hypnotic grooves and minimalist ethereal soundscapes!

Biography: 
Tommy Köler at the age of 16 discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists. He also had a big interest in spinning records. Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He showed his brilliant DJ skills at many parties, listen to his wonderful mix.

This time, Tom has recorded a special mix to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our signature podcast, DUBBISM.

In his own words...
My love for music started when I was a child. Back then, I collected music of different styles on cassette tapes, later on CDs and then in digital form. 
I started making mixes between the four walls about 6-8 years ago. T
hat's when I started discovering the deep house and dub techno styles. 
So I started making mixes in these styles which I later published on my youtube, soundcloud and mixcloud channels.
I've had the opportunity to showcase my mixes on other platforms a few times, but I usually only post mixes on my own social channels.

Some of my favourite (and no doubt 1000's of others) mixes are by this man.
And this mix is no exception.

Biography: 
Aritomi, real name Eric Banquier. He has started his musical activities as a FM radio DJ in the mid 90's, on a French local radio. The electronic music project Aritomi began when the radio had to close down in the late 90's. Initially, it was a simple experiment with sounds made on a very limited equipment. The style has evolved over the years, from House and Techno at the beginning, to a more minimal blend of Deep, Ambient and Dub Techno, but still quite melodic. Living in Japan since 2000, Aritomi has performed DJ sets at "Echo Chamber" events, Dub Techno parties organised by Tsubasa Arakawa and released music on Zero Signal Records, hello▼strange, Solar Phenomena, Slope Point and [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].
