From humble beginnings to the international scene, Mohasseb began his music career in the early 2000s as a bedroom DJ and quickly became Cairo’s go-to DJ for both its most famed venues and festivals. He soon became one of Cairo Jazz Club’s main headliners and has remained so for a period spanning over a decade. In addition to playing in Pacha Sharm El Sheikh, he has played in Family and Friends and Theatre of Dreams; two of Egypt’s biggest festivals. With his fresh take on melodic techno beats, Mohasseb kicked off his international career in Greece in 2015 leading to a series of gigs around the world. His bio includes playing alongside international DJs Adriatique, Denis Horvat, Adana Twins, Claptone, Adam Port and Monolink- to name a few.

The alternative rock duo first came into the spotlight with the mainstream success of their single The Kill from their second album A Beautiful Lie, and have since sold over 15 million albums worldwide and recorded over two billion streams online to date. Thirty Seconds to Mars, comprised of Jared Leto and Shannon Leto, is known for their experimental progressive rock sounds, fusing elements from a wide variety of genres to create anthemic hits like From Yesterday as well as Kings and Queens.

The band has clinched Best International Band three times at the Kerrang! Awards and won nine times at the MTV Europe Music Awards. They have also been nominated at the Billboard Music Awards, taking home the Modern Rock Artist of the Year award in 2007.
