Mr.Milk is a project fruit of inattention. the adventure of a lazy traveller through his room,through his head,and,extremely ever,(and very fearfully),through his heart. an unwilling still explorer that would have like the most having green eyes,being a professional thief,and kissing beautiful unknown girls; inappropriate in shape and spirit for his dreams,in 2005 he surrenders to his nature,and he finds himself writing songs. then,he played in places with a few intimate friends,and in places with a lot of intimate friends,he smiled more than he was expected to,he had the nerve to make people hug,argue,kiss,cry,meet... to get on cars,trains,planes to narrate things that he just dreamed of. mr milk plays to be a human being,and he often loses. maybe he's sick.

Portland-raised, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Eddie Gomez, whose soulful roots mixed with contemporary elements of modern music have helped Eddie refine his distinct sound. While some pursue a path in music because of their natural talent in it, others seem to have a long family line of professional musicians before them. One way or another, musical expression always seems to make sense for them. Gomez on the other hand, never having had a background in music or any particular ability in the art of songwriting (that he knew of), somehow has continuously been carving out a little niche in the music world for himself. “Part of the reason I fell in love with music is because it’s never come easy to me. I’ve always had to find a way to make it work“, and it seems to be working. With every project Eddie releases, it’s as if you can hear him growing out of his musical cocoon, getting stronger and more complex with each song. “As hard as something may be for me, my goal is to always find a way to make things sound simple and relatable”. An artist with a vision and a plan is seldom found these days. In an era where content is “king”, it gets harder to find artists who focus on quality rather then quantity. “In order to be successful in what you do, sometimes you have to be willing to disappear for a while and work quietly and I am excited to show everyone what I’ve been working on.” It’s safe to say that we can expect new music from him soon, and you can’t help but be curious to hear what he’s been brewing up in the lab.

The group, which emerged in 2011 between Amsterdam and Rio de Janeiro, is a project of folk singer Kazlauckas Kao (vocals, ukulele, banjo and guitar) and his troupe, Luis Gomes (backing vocals, guitar and piano), Daniel Hawk (battery , backing vocals), André Falcon (guitar), Danilo Moura (bass, baixolão) and Alvaro Bouzada (trumpet).

His main influences are the Freak folk ("popular eccentric" or "natural") a genre that recreates the music with traditional mix of contemporary styles and features. Present in many countries, the trend includes mostly acoustic folk instruments, but introduces elements considered avant-garde, pop, baroque, folk music and psychedelia. Often ofreak works with folk themes and sounds quite unusual vocal styles.

The band released their first album in 2012, and made a pocket tour Europe through Portugal, Holland and England and has been excelling in the freak folk scene internationally. In early 2013, the Mykonos Flame came out in a collection of car brand Mercedes Benz in Germany with the song Wolfmother Lover, being listed in the top 10 revelations of international music in 2013 in the collection `e`-class.
