This track was an album track originally and scheduled for a 12" release on a US label in New Orleans, but Hurricane Katrina happened and put the kybosh on it.

Feed The Reaper

Andrew Byrne, a sonic architect and analytical mind, dexterously melds influences from the halcyon days of dance music with innovation. His journey traces back to the Second Summer of Love in 1988, his passion sparked by a borrowed Belgian house mix. Armed with a modest Amiga sampler, Byrne started recreating the pulsating rhythms of dance music’s embryonic strains and would go on to become a highly regarded producer within the progressive scene, releasing on labels like Fire, Limbo Records and Ministry of Sound.

Immersed in vinyl culture, Byrne frequented legendary record shops by day and delved into Manchester's electrifying club circuit by night. This era of exploration culminated in acclaimed releases under his Hellpass moniker and as part of the Kobayashi project. Byrne's sonic prowess garnered attention from industry luminaries like John Digweed and Dave Seaman, leading to touring internationally and a coveted spot on the Renaissance Records' roster. 

After a hiatus from the industry, Byrne was reinvigorated by the underground parties in the North West, where his live analogue wizardry has captivated audiences anew. Now, Byrne re-emerges poised to bring his lauded ‘clinical synth pyrotechnics’ and wild visceral energy back to the dancefloor.
