People from different cultures follow different practices to keep their 'purity' intact. Some may bathe several times a day, and others may decide to live in solitude.

Some believe that places can be rendered 'impure' for certain periods of time based on what happened there, including even the most natural beautiful acts like giving birth. The question is, does following such practises actually help us in purifying ourselves?

Through the Bani (words) of Asa Di Vaar, Guru Ji explains how our eyes, ears and tongue are impure because we use them to slander, gossip and negatively look upon others. In turn, all of this leads to an impure state of mind. Guru tells us precisely what we need to do to remove the impurities of the mind.
