Lamar Robinson, aka ( Jdot The Beast) is a Maryland native by way of Los Angles, California. His parents separated at the time of his birth, led to countless trips across the US for holidays and summer vacation. His mother a hustler born and raised in Michigan gave him the street knowledge which heavily saturate his music. His father also a Michigan native but moved to Cali to further his career in the medical field. When asked about his up bringing and dealing with parents,not only living on different sides of the track, but in different time zones? Jdot replied by saying " there is not a significant difference between the two, I learned how to balance the street mentality that my mother embedded with higher learning.

Jdot began his love for hip hop when he was 7 and began to develop his skills at 14. Performing at school talent shows and lunchtime ciphers, he demanded the attention of his peers. Since high school he has performed in countless shows and has opened up for some of the industries best. His resume includes Nelly, Too Short, Lil Scappy, YoungBloods, Young Buck, Digital Underground, Jody Breeze, Gorilla Zoe, Twista, and the list continues. He has been featured on several mix-tapes and LP's, one which landed on Billboards Top 100 list(The Unknown, produced by TP of Off Top Records).

When listening to Jdot's music you can build a relationship with him as an artist and a person. He brings his life into the music, from his single GCH ( a song that depicts his hustle and dealing with the streets) to I'm Sorry( a heart reaching apology to his family for being lost). His unique story telling style has been compared to the likes of Jay Z, Nas, Ghostface, and Common. When asked who influenced him the most he would say his older brother.

Jdot the Beast has the potential to be a top seller in the rap game, and is patiently waiting for the door to open. His motto is I was born a star.

Starting off in Underground Detroit’s after hours scene, Al NeOn has quickly become one of Detroit’s premiere Bass Music artists, and across Michigan abroad. Remembering his roots, he continues to play in smaller and bigger shows, alike. Recently playing Life in Color, and gearing up for another, as well as performing for some of Detroit’s most influential companies Detroit Rave Scene, Nightsneak Entertainment, D-Ranged Productions and being featured on Elektricity Night Club’s mainstage. Delivering equal passion and intensity with every performance, to go along with a wide array of Bass Music influences that make for an experience unlike any other every time. Al NeOn was born in New York,New York during the clubbing explosion some blame it on the birth of Al NeOn. They moved Al NeOn to Hoboken,New Jersey to a shuffled around the United States, getting removed from high clearance special research facilities, to under ground bases they raised Al NeOn to be a God of Light to produce bass music throughout the world as we know it. His work creates happiness mixed with unity, the movement radiates with the joy that only love brings. Al NeOn currently resides in the underground of Michigan but not for long he is soon to also reside in your heart.
