Favorite KVR One Synth OSC 172 Songs

This track was composed for the KVR One Synth Challenge 172 using the free software synth Lith. 

Definitely was inspired by Blade Runner and Clockwork Orange for this one. 

I used the random button liberally and then further tweaked the synth settings to finalize the patches.

25 instances of Lith synth were used in Ableton 10 to make all sounds and instruments. Stock effects used: EQ8 x 12; Utility x 13; Delay x 1; Autofilter x 1; Compressor x 3; Echo x 1; Reverb x 3; Saturator x 1; Limiter x 2.

Submission for One Synth Challenge #172 featuring "Lith" by Soda Devices.

I couldn't resist to join this round with another synthwave "banger" and use my own presets for this synth. I remember it was on OSC several years ago and I found it very good for drums and FM style sounds. It also has a really nice wave-shaping functions, like on the expensive commercial synths. It's kinda CPU hungry, but thanks to quality selection I can use it even on my old laptop (why the heck big companies cannot implement such a simple and genius feature?).

The gremlins in Negoba's studio decided to steal snippets of his previous OSC's to create a monster destined to confound and disgust all listeners. Unbeknownst to them, their creation (Jenkins) instead prefers cuddles and long walks on the beach.

All sounds created using Odin2 Softsynth by Wave Warden for KVR OSC #197.

Mix of stock presets, tweaked presets, and init. Shout back a bit to a previous track where I used Odin on an open round. I think I’ve learned a little since then.

Final, remixed submission for OSC 197. Idea for this track was partially inspired by Carl Craig's "Home Entertainment" off of his classic Detroit techno album Landcruising, but then I decided to add drums and it became a very different beast. Hope y'all like it!

My entry for KVR Audio's One Synth Challenge 197, featuring Odin 2 by The Wave Warden. Really enjoyed this synth. I tried to capture the feeling of driving west on State Route 161 through my hometown in Ohio, and out into the farmland beyond.
