THE DAY OF THE GREEN EARTH - IMPROMPTU

As the title suggests, I made this piece to commemorate World Earth Day. And this piece is largely improvised, so I found Impromptu a fitting description. The accompanying guitar is playing parts that have been in my head for some time now, the lead guitar responds to them spontaneously.

Hot town, summer in my city of Rotterdam! My town is best viewed in sharp light with lost of light and shade, being a city of new and modern architecture.
This is a fast instrumental fusion track with hints of rock and funk celebrating my harbor city of Rotterdam, the new Dutch capital of cool, a city of extremes and contrasts, hypermodern, rough, angled, trendy and hip(ster). Some call it the city of the future, where architecture is experimental, art is modern, music is with an edge, yearly festivals like the North Sea Jazz festival at Ahoy... I do love my city, the reason I came to be an architect...

 I hope you'll enjoy this tune of mine and as always I appreciate your comments, likes and shares!

Henrik is just a 30-year-young-regular-everyday-normal decent amateur guy who lives in Norway and spends most of his free time making all kinds of craptacular music. He's even talking in third person right now just to tell you this. 

As you may have noticed from my selection of creation so far, I'm very versatile when it comes to music. I'm a musician scientist; I like to experiment and discover new things. I also have a dog. And I like chicken noodle soup.
