Officially Arturo Hevia's music came to light in 2011 by the well-known german brand Parquet Recording, remixing Solee's single Jule, getting support from prestigious entertainers such as Hernan Cattaneo and Sasha. In 2012, his first original track The Secret came to light on a Chilean label called Fulgurita which had support from artists of different areas such as Paul Oakenfold until Applescal, started to make remixes for different artists too. In 2014, his second EP Caminos on Inlab Recordings was recognized by other personalities such as Ryan Davis and Dominik Eulberg. 2015 was a year of changes which could be seen and heard in a special Live set at Creamfields Chile, where he played a lot of new material, among them Luftstrøm and Bohemian Groove, highlighted as a multifaceted music producer. 2016 was touring around some of Europe's cities releasing one series of successful tracks such as Atacama Dream, Verano de San Juan, and Raices, all signed under the iconic Global Underground label, which has returned to the scene with the work of this Latin American artist , considering him as one of the new great talents of last time. Also, he was closing the great British label's 20th anniversary at the ADE festival (Amsterdam Dance Event) along with the emblematic GU lineup. 2018 he put his career on pause to explore to the world of sound engineering where he has mixed song and albums for another producers and currently 2023 is resuming his musical work and coming back electronic music scene.

world opens right on the surface area of the bavarian capital and
doesn’t have to wait any longer.
Though it even isn't long ago, when Florian played on the "highligen" Technics for his first time.
You could say it was love at first sound now and that's really what it was like!
The passion of this relationship is obvious because it is deep, hot and intoxicating.
When the air burns, the floor melts, colors scent and the heartbeat bangs through the speakers then the climax is very close…

Iwan a.k.a. IWANMUSIQ was born and raised in a musical soul/rhythm blues/gospel-minded Christian Suriname household in the Netherlands, where his mother sang in the gospel choir of the church and his father played the bass guitar. Together with his younger sister, Sharon, they learned at a very young age how to sing. They also performed within the gospel choir of the church and they were also active in the church youth choir. 

Around the age of 16, Iwan began a small R&B/Soul boy group consisting of three guys ( lead vocal: Ivanildo, second lead vocal: Iwan, background vocals Jerome and Wincell ). The name of the group was “Once and Forever" but that didn't lasted long because he had to make a choice between a music career or an education in Electrical Engineering. Although his heart desires more to be in the music industry, he chose the other one because at those times, it offered him a much better opportunity to pursue a well-paid career after his study. It was a period in the Netherlands which was very difficult to break through in the R&B music industry as well as in soul. He even wrote a song or two for the group.

As he turned 17, he and Sharon attended singing lessons to improve and develop more of their vocals. During this period, they got the opportunity to perform a cover of Laurin Hill feat. D’angelo “Nothing Even Matters" at the big Art and Culture Centre Pier K in Hoofddorp. They received a heartwarming standing ovation from the crowd. Their outstanding performance was published in the regional newspaper. 

At the age of 18, he and his sister were asked by Abby Drenthe to join her gospel/music entertainment group wherein he was reunited with his former group member Invanildo. They did a couple of gig’s in gospel and soul/funk music. It was a marvellous experience and it was good while it lasted.
As his passion for music became stronger, at the age of 24, he broadened his knowledge furthermore by listening to various styles of soul, jazz and R&B. Modern jazz, neo soul, underground hiphop, R&B gospel, to mention a few. He also became interested in different electronic digital music such as broken-beat, drum&bass, garage, 2-step, deep-house, acid jazz, electronic soul, experimental, techno and minimal house music. Throughout the years, his love for music didn't stopped that he started forming his own style. At 30, he bought his own studio hardware and software, experimenting and learning to blend different style’s of music together. 

Nowadays, he is producing his own sound, each track bearing his own signature, which he calls, the "IWANMUSIQ flavor." His own style of music that he spices up with semi-underground, soul/jazzy/funky, groovy, bouncy tunes and beats.
 
His sound is very unique, making his own tracks from scratch, using most of the sounds from his environment, turning them into real sounds or instruments.

IWANMUSIQ is working on some collaborations and on remix projects for and with several artists.
