Following an extended teaching journey in Europe, I staked my tent in the studio of CIUT radio in the heart of downtown Toronto. For the past 26 years, I've hosted NO MAN'S LAND and have earned a reputation among a loyal audience for unique, groove-driven explorations into the evolution of world music & global electronica.

From Indo-Arabic Dub to Afro-Latin Funk to Gypsy-Swing Electronica, sets flow seamlessly from soothing ancient rhythms and textures through rippling primitive &amp; progressive beats, always challenging cultural boundaries &amp; musical traditions. This genre-bending mixology has generated a throng of listeners locally and internationally + continues to win fans over the airwaves and on dancefloors. NO MAN'S LAND is considered by many to be the top world fusion radio show in Canada. 

Running the gamut of underground parties to mainstream stages, I've produced shows and played DJ sets with dozens of heroes and major international artists. I've spoken at numerous conferences & festivals discussing world music, cultural activism and social citizenship, and have toured across North America as a yoga DJ.

Working closely with the finest clubs and promoters on local and international concerts &amp; parties and through consistent work as an educator, radio producer and cultural ambassador, medman is instrumental in pushing global music forward, and in exposing the international airwaves to the best emerging &amp; established artists in the scene. That was a serious run-on sentence folks. Nevertheless, the recipe is to diligently seek out the finest independent grooves, hook into the leading music labels and spread a weekly healing dose to the masses. Music is our medicine.

Cazes is a Miami based DJ & producer that began DJing in 2010. His eclectic taste & ability to seamlessly blend genres has allowed him to play top nightclubs & high profile events across the country. 

Influences such as Diplo, Vice, Eric DLux, & Five have helped shaped Cazes approach to DJing. His carefully curated sets feature hip-hop, house, latin & much more, all blended into a refined and energetic mix. 

In 2018, Cazes shifted his focus to production. He produced remixes & edits exclusively for Headliner Music Club, which were supported by The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Diplo, & more. These remixes & edits also received air time on BBC Radio 1 & Sirius XM, as well as being played at festivals such as Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, & ElectricZoo. 

After a couple years of producing remixes & edits, Cazes released his debut single ‘Want You’ on Chrmatic Records in the final month of 2020. His follow up ‘Every Little Thing' was released in January of 2021 and has already seen support from Producers & DJ’s all around the globe. 

On top of diving into original production this past year, Cazes also started up his own mix show ‘Rinse & Repeat Radio’. Rinse & Repeat Radio highlights new house music, as well as hosting guest mixes weekly. In just the first year, the show has hosted mixes from DJ Spider, DJ Scene, Crespo, & many more well-known DJ’s around the country.

Cazes ability to channel the diverse taste that he has developed from years of DJing into his production, has allowed him to create a sound that is unique to him, while still highlighting all the producers & DJ’s that have influenced him on his journey so far.

has, with great love and in prayer, been traveling and touring, sharing ecstatic dance medicine and cacao ceremony around his home base on Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, as well as through Holland, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Czech Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, as well as conscious festivals and gatherings around the world, among other sweet spaces. His musical, movement and ceremonial offerings feel like a homecoming, wishmaking, radical rejoicing, and a deep celebration and recalibration unto all of your beautiful cells.
