'Warmth and Green Water' is the debut album by 'Her Waveform'.

A collection of improvised electronic jam recordings.

Her Waveform started this project with a goal of injecting life into electronic music, while practicing to perform live using only modular synth. This shifted into a collection of improvised techno and ambient electronic works, soaked in experimental sound design.

This project marks the end of their time as a music student during a period of struggle with a partial yet chronic physical disability of their dominant hand. "I couldn't make music any other way. It hurt to play guitar or use a computer. Playing modular synth was the only instrument that took pressure off of my hand. But I fell in love with it."

'Warmth and Green Water' tells a story of battling mental illness, chronic pain, and substance abuse. Stagnant green water and the warm indulgence.

Glitchy breathing textures and bright, washed-out synths. The project features improvised performances with a 6U/104 HP Eurorack rig, including hard 808 kicks, and granularized vocal samples from a Morphagene. The music was improvised, recorded, and mixed in real time as one take, aiming to capture imperfection.

Her Waveform, a moniker reflective of infusing life, emotion, and movement into soundscapes.
Works primary with live and improvised modular synthesis techniques, gravitating towards avant-garde techno and electronic ambient genres.

Additionally, they contribute to the 'asquickaspossible' project, crafting unreleased sample-based music and performing eclectic DJ sets.
