The essence of cinema helps the composer write music without formal and conventional boundaries. Maybe that's why most of the film music writers embark on different forms in their works, experiencing vaster freedom. Yazdanian uses this space, writing music depicting visions. A music, which you can listen & imagine, without looking at the silver screen.
   Themes is a collection of four original movie soundtracks including Wind will carry us (Abbas Kiarostami), Strangers (Ramin Bahrani), Going By (Iraj Karimi) and Water & Fire (Fereydoun Jeyrani).

Although Rock music was born in post-industrial societies, the younger generation of Iranians have been searching for a kind of Rock that springs from the heart of their own society. By using folk melodies and traditional motifs, Barad tries to come up with a new blend of Rock.

Hermit

There is a harmony between the contrasts of ebony and ivory keys. Moments created by Kiawasch Saheb Nassagh’s improvisations on piano is the realization of such harmony, the passions and impressions of an artist far from his homeland.

سومین قسمت پادکست مترونوم نگاهی دارد به تصنیف مشهوربیات اصفهان ماه من شاه من ساخته مرتضی خان نی داود که برای اولین بار توسط قمرالملوک وزیری اجرا شد و مرتضی حنانه آن را دستمایه ساخت موسیقی متن سریال هزاردستان ساخت و البته اجراهای مختلف این ترانه .

این اجرای خانگی در آواز دشتی حکایت حالی ناآشناست از نغمه‌ای که چند روزی با دستان من از ساز جاری شد، رهایم نکرد و از ذهنم پاک نشد. ساز بر اساس "دشتی می" به صورت دو سل لا می کوک شده که این کوک را به صورت تجربی امتحان کردم و در لیست کوک‌های دشتی که توسط احمد عبادی ذکر شده نیافتم.  این بار دشتی را به جای اینکه در طی ِ درجات ِ شور و در فاصلۀ پنجم بنوازم در طی ِ درجات ِ ماهور و در فاصله سوم نواخته‌ام. به گمانم صحتی باشد بر فرضیۀ یکپارچگی و همبستگی دستگاه‌های و آوازهای موسیقی ایرانی.
