Welcome back to another Transmission broadcasting from the HER 他 Transmission Mix Series, a weekly mix series showcasing incredible and amazing artists from around the world. For the 51st edition, we bring you a mix from Drukmo Gyal.

Drukmo Gyal was born in the northeastern part of Tibet into a Tibetan Yogi family, where mantra and meditation were introduced from a young age. With support from a local Tibetian yogic community, She began singing publically in 2008 and since then she has gone on to travel to more than 30 countries, released multiple albums and engaged in concerts, public talks, workshops and courses on healing mantras, yoga and meditation as well as Tibetan external therapies and traditional medicine. We are extremely honoured for her to be able to join HER Transmission and create this mix for the series.

Bhakti yoga is the yoga of the heart. In this practice we come together in sacred song, chant, mantra, and connection for an experience of deep transformational healing and bliss.

There is something magical that happens we come together in a circle. In a circle, we’re all equal and connected. At the beginning of the practice, everyone sets an intention and chooses what they wish to focus their energy toward.

This is a powerful practice to share with others. We are able to see and be seen, to be witness to ourselves and to all of the beautiful souls we’re sharing the sacred space with. This is an ancient practice and a beautiful opportunity to share with our community. Everyone's voices shine together.✨

What an honor to share a live recording from our kirtan last night at the Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali. This was an experiment with live recording and we'll do another soon with more microphones and fine tuning the levels and volumes. ;)

Govinda(shepherd of the cows)is another name for Krishna meaning the one who gives pleasure to the senses.
