Welcome back to another Transmission broadcasting from the HER 他 Transmission Mix Series, our mix series showcasing amazing artists from around the world. For the 146th edition, we bring you a mix from Gestalt Intelligence

Gestalt Intelligence is a gamertag / virtual alter ego / DJ alias of Ibo, a Jakarta-based DJ / producer and gamer.

They are one of the entities behind KLUB KIDUL, an Indonesian series of club nights in a virtual reality video game that showcases experimental local and international artists and performers.

Gestalt selection of music is heavily influenced by spending their time online, which includes anything from euphoric trance, hard-hitting, raw style, jittery breakcore, silly hyper pop, redlining weird baile funk, and whatever is weird and hard. When all the noises subside on rare occasions, Gestalt might show a more angelic and dreamy side that people rarely see.

Besides playing many video games and going to the arcades, they are working on an upcoming EP while doing fun little blends on their Soundcloud page.

Boyzu Rabu is a professional illustrator by day and an otaku DJ by night. Their iconic selects include J-core, denpa music originating from the Otaku capital Akihabara and extremely deep cut hardcore remixes of their favorite anime & game OSTs. 

Japanese Moe & nerd culture is a huge inspiration in their body of visual and musical work. Doing cosplay as a hobby helped Boyzu Rabu finally achieve their dream of being a Real Anime Magical Warrior. Their sets have spanned New York, Tokyo, Bali and various venues and parties in Jakarta. Expect hyper cute HI-NRG genre mishmash of a set when they're behind the deck ପ(๑•ᴗ•๑)ଓ ♡
