Welcome back to another Transmission broadcasting from the HER 他 Transmission Mix Series, our mix series showcasing amazing artists from around the world. For the 164th edition, we bring you a mix from OLIV

OLIV is one co-founder of ZENA, part of Fluid Festival and a Callshop Radio resident. With a wide range of efforts to create more safer spaces, conversations and networking opportunities for FLINTA* artists, as well as to support and build communities, the work of ZENA and Fluid Festival is an important part of the current electronic and subcultural music scene.

OLIV is a music lover and explorer at heart. For several years she has been turning knobs and records - always varying between different genres such as Experimental, HipHop, House, Breakbeat, Electro and Bass. She has already played in various clubs in Germany as well as in London and Amsterdam. Besides various radio mixes, including Refuge Worldwide, Dublab Brazil, NTS and Rinse France, she also hosts her own bi-monthly radio show linger for a Moment on Callshop Radio.

After having played there several times in the past two years in different slots, I was even more excited to play an opening on Globus Floor for the first time. I love playing the opening for events, so I’m especially happy to be able to do it at special places like this.

Liquid Memory @ HÖR Takeover - OLIV

Here is a recording of my two-hour morning set at NYE, Ankali & Planeta Za.

A gig that will forever be in my heart, thanks to the love that was, especially in the last 30 minutes, palpable and overwhelming. 

While choosing tracks, I let myself go to many corners, always focusing on a specific feeling that a fresh morning on the 1st day of a new year evoked in me – warm, energizing, ethereal, hopeful, promising. That is what we were going for, and what we've achieved on the dancefloor. 

Many many thanks to the @ankali fam for letting me be a part of this night. 

And thanks to all the beautiful souls who danced with me, shared smiles and kind words – I hope this recording finds you well <3
