A little history....In the 90's I spun at Tracks (DC), March (Atlanta), The Eagle (Atlanta), The Gray Party (Houston) 119 Merrimack (Boston) and once at The Spike (NYC) during Pride.   Playing gigs and working at record stores was not paying the bills so I put the turn tables away, went back to school and got steady work, and benefits, in IT support.   

In 2009 I moved to Hull, MA and in 2013, got involved with Hull Pride (hullpride.net).  Started spinning again digitally at our events a few times a year and loving this little sea side town just outside of Boston.   In the summer of 2021 as we came out of the pandemic, The Alley Bar, Boston, invited me to spin so this presented the opportunity to be more free on what I enjoy playing but still pleasing the crowd with house, disco, EDM, and Tech House. The desert was calling and made the move out west.   I'm now settled in Cathedral City (Palm Springs) and loving life here.   I'm working on some live spinning but will post more sets as I'm inspired.

A place where you can experience live recordings, podcasts or remixed productions by DJ/Producer Randy Bettis (NYC) & BetBoyz.  BetBoyz is the collaboration between Randy Bettis & singer/songwriter David J. Boyd.

Since 1998 Randy's high energy happy vocal sound has been played and shared all over the world.  From mega events to house party Randy brings the house' to every party.  From classics to current vocal house to high energy electro-progressive tracks and creates a journey for the entire dance floor to bond to.   With numerous guest residencies throughout the USA, numerous compilations and remixes there is a lot to choose from to enjoy.  

I started as a DJ in 1983 at a small but popular club in Philadelphia called the Black Banana. I also created a visual experience that went with the music for the clubs. I have spun at the
Roxy New York and have had installations at the Limelight. I was a club kid and promoter. My inspirations come from places in New York I remember like The Spike, 12 West and The Saint, Danceteria, Area, Susanne Bartsch Events, The Roxy and Sound Factory. 
In Philadelphia the Catacombs was my place of inspiration musically. DJ David Todd, Soul, R&B, Disco, The Philly Sound and House were a major part of my music influence.

In London clubs like Heaven & Taboo in 1980s inspired me with Eurodisco & High Energy. In the mid 1980s I experienced the House & Acid House movement. I brought allot of that culture back to the States with me when i returned from living in London.

Born in Manhattan, raised in Queens, musical education in Philadelphia, studio planted in Brooklyn. Spencer Zabiela is nothing short of a music fanatic. His nostalgia for a generation of electronic music that has since faded, is clear in his own records and in his track selection in his DJ sets. Spencer has toured Europe and North America several times playing some of his favorite venues, including Sisyphos in Berlin and Output in Brooklyn.
