it's been an eventful few years. i graduated from San Diego State University, endured some extremely difficult times, and finally made it to the Bay Area, where i work at a legal non-profit in San Francisco. i finished this remix in august of 2015 but for various reasons, it got left behind in the depths of my laptop. i realized that i had been holding on to a lot of my anxious self-doubts about it being not good enough. as someone who is totally self-taught in terms of electronic music, i have those feels a lot. yesterday, i rediscovered this remix, did some polishing up of the mix, and fell in love. the funny thing is that issues of bravery and self-doubt are really central to the original song itself. this remix marks my continual self-transformation, and a refusal to let myself be my own enemy. 

lots of love to @stelouse and @ill-esha for their wonderful original track! i hope you all like my interpretation :)
