When you want a DJ at your club, event or festival what is the most important quality? Energy? Fun? Connection with the audience? Dr.Malakka has the musical knowledge and experience to deliver in all three aspects. Born in Italy, he was close to the Slovenian border and at an early age was enchanted by the bouncy Balkan beats emanating from his neighbours. Immersed in this energetic sound he brought his interpretation to London where he met with overwhelming success. And this success was a result of his collaboration with a Robert Soko in Berlin and made it possible to expand this sound throughout Europe and beyond.  Building on these experiences he meshed a multitude of deeply rich sounds of many other cultures into those infectious Balkan beats. And now based in Barcelona Dr.Malakka is continuing to evolve his sound to share around globe.

He has played in clubs, festivals, and events across the world in such countries as Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, the US, South Africa, Hungary, Finland, and Scotland with notable appearances at the Coronet Theatre or Electric Brixton in London or festivals like Glastonbury & Secret Garden in the UK.
