This fall Tolga Böyük, one-third of a Turkish-based islandman, went for a short trip to Copenhagen to visit Kenneth Bager. The music wasn't planned at all, but out of the idea of making the soundtracks for a non-existing movie, the two pioneers made an album in no time. 'Re-Arrange Your Face' is the third fragment.

Ohad Slavin from Israel is one of a kind with his music. Each new release from him surprised us once more. With ease he writes new tunes that seem to be familiar to those who have been in the dance music workd for a while. Genre boundaries do not exist for the multi instrumentalist, since he is working on creating his own universe. Pai is his take on the familiar bossa tune, and his wacky grooves seem to accompany the legend quite well we feel.

Gaining notoriety with stellar remixes for Rheinzand and endorsed by the likes of DJ Harvey, Bill Brewster & Sean Johnston's ALFOS, Scorpio Twins return with their take on Jambo Maro from islandman's 2020 Kaybola album. Giving the track a typical end of 80's Belgian flavour, the build-up from an enigmatic whisper through a magnetic buzz results in an ever growing tribal chant by the islandman and his cult, getting down with their bad selves, tripping out on a dose of lysergic waffle, not falafel.

Hey, folks!  I am thrilled to share my latest track titled 'WG in Pankow' Inspired by my new life in Berlin's vibrant Pankow district, this song encapsulates the energy and excitement of my newfound living experience. I've settled into a fantastic room, and as fate would have it, I have the pleasure of sharing it with an incredible small individual who is a devoted fan of the iconic Red Hot Chili Peppers band.

One evening, while my little flatmate was passionately belting out their favorite Chili Peppers tunes, I couldn't help but be captivated by the raw emotion and enthusiasm in he's voice. It was so infectious that I decided to hit the record button and preserve that unique moment forever I skillfully crafted those mesmerizing vocals into the heart of 'WG in Pankow'

Open Source was also a track I first tested at Wonderfruit after months of different versions, and finally it worked! I copied some of the automation I recorded from the live show into the final version of the track, especially from the break. I wanted one of those epic trancey ‘sky was pink’ moments. I guess this track is my Holden homage.
