Classical pianist and composer on nights and weekends. Digital media executive and content producer. I live in North Carolina, USA, with my wife, two dogs, and Brodmann grand piano. 

Attended Manhattan School of Music, piano performance study with Artur Balsam. Previous teachers were John Heiss, Myron Klempner, and Olga Barabini. 

I choose daily between practicing standard repertoire and composing original piano pieces. I end up doing both and recording whenever possible.

Catherine Meeson is a self produced independent singer/songwriter indie producer, writing diverse music, progressive psychedelic rock and ambient ethereal electro. She has released four solo studio albums since 2010, collaborations and band projects with Symbols in Sounds. Catherine  has played at various venues and small festivals and has received radio airplay on community radio around Australia via AIR IT  with good response and some feature interviews for her last album The Call of Oma  an electro orchestral concept work. Catherine holds an honours degree in Creative Arts Industries (composition focus ) and is completing a Bachelor of Audio Engineering.

 My first love is composing and producing film, game and TV score music however, I'm happy to turn my hand to any genre that moves me!
