Canberra-based DJ on the rise Chloe Maguire curates Lost Sundays Sessions 010. 

A growing hometown hero for clued-up house heads, Chloe has been tapped as support for CC:DISCO, DJ Boring, Skin On Skin and Andy Garvey in both Sydney and the nation's capital.

Spanning the likes of Dimitri From Paris to Palms Trax, Danny Mekanik to Moktar and Chinaski to Chiapet, this Session showcases the full range of Chloe's selection prowess.

In Chloe's own words:

"The track I'm most excited by is 'Trompeta Alegre' by Chicago's DJ Lego. Released through France-based project 'Africanism', the track's uplifting trumpets paired with the groovy bassline make this song impossible to not dance to. Its cheerful, euphoric energy makes it perfect for an afternoon event in the summertime.

Helsinki-based DJ/producer/designer Emkay is someone I’ve discovered recently through her latest EP, ‘Now We’re Fucking Doing It’ - mostly because it includes an edit of Sansibar, an artist that’s been on my radar for a while. I play ‘Bootiesong’ near the end of the mix, which features a pacey bassline, melodic synths and sexy vocals. I’m very excited to see what Emkay produces in years to come!

As far as club records go, I’m excited to play 'Ride the Rhythm' (Danny Mekanik’s 21st Anniversary Mix) from This Ain’t Chicago, a release of underground sounds compiled by Richard Sen. It’s a classic UK house track featuring acidic melodies and a fun vocal.

Finally, I finished this mix with Moktar’s new release 'Lemon' which I’ve become obsessed with recently. Moktar is an Egyptian/Australian producer whose heritage you can hear influence his music - breakbeats that utilise Arabic percussion and marching band samples makes for an interesting sonic combination!" - @chloemaguire1

Ascension with Midweek & notjack | St Patrick's Day Special. March's edition of Ascension is here with a mini-mix from Limerick's finest Midweek. The first 30 minutes from myself and the last 30 from the lads. This one goes hard - enjoy!

MIDWEEK, comprising of members Chaz Moloney & SHEE have been at the forefront of Limericks underground dance scene for the past 7 years. The duo cut their teeth throwing free parties in Limerick which led to the formation of their collective "TOT". TOT operates as a monthly 3 room 700 capacity party in Limerick. Through having access to 3 rooms the parties were really able to dive into the corners and sub genres of dance music and expose the population of Limerick to a rounded club experience with diverse programming being put in place for each night . The collective have been responsible for bringing artists such as "DVS1, Special Request, FJAAK (live), Benjamin Damage (live), Cleric, Tommy Holohan, Kettama, Jordan, Ejeca, 2000 and One, Folamour, Baltra, Ben Sims, SPFDJ, Mella Dee, Shampain, DJ seinfeld, Dan Shake & Sunil Sharpe to Limerick City. 

A stern focus on music & dancing has always been the foundation of MIDWEEK's club shows. In 2018 the collective introduced a phone ban on their dancefloors whereby punters' cameras were covered while entering the venue. In 2021 the duo ran their debut festival "SIONNA Music & Arts Festival" and took this concept to the next level whereby they installed a DJless dancefloor in a city centre Warehouse with the help of Belfast production crew "Visual Spectrum". Through taking these measures MIDWEEKs parties have grown to become known for their wild, high energy, no bullshit, tops off atmosphere. 

The duo have recognized the importance of promoting Irish talent & set up a monthly sister night of TOT entitled "Clique". The objective being to book Upcoming Irish talent and put them on a stage in front of the same rowdy Limerick city crowd that can be found at any of their TOT shows.  In addition, their most recent project has seen the duo set up their own imprint entitled "2SWEET records" with the aim of the label to once again promote and release Iirish Electronic Dance music.The duo launched the label with their own debut EP in September 2019. The 4 track EP "Litemail" was followed up with their single "cast as a villain" and their most recent EP "Missing U" all of which boasts sounds that MIDWEEK have become known for; Fast breaks and funk infused techno. The broken bass focused label has upcoming releases scheduled with Irish Artists Pagan, Silky Klub & Karl Guest whilst always on the hunt for new exciting talent. 

As DJ's and producers, the duo have worked hard at their craft earning them a regular yearly spot at Ireland's beloved Life Festival. Internationally, the pair have appeared at Dimensions Festival Croatia, MIA Vancouver, The waldorf Vancouver, Debonair Social Club Chicago, Rennes France and Egg Club London whilst nationally the duo have a busy schedule up and down the country in addition to playing their bi-weekly residency in Limericks newest Club, "Club 061".
