When we got the chance to release music from the experienced artist Peter Jürgens we didn’t hesitate. His proper techno stuff has already been hosted on labels like Mutekki, CusCus and Rrygular. Together with Alexander Franz, who shares the passion for raw and uncompromising techno, they created an „on point“ peaktime EP. Stomping and sprouting kickdrums and analog sounds lead to pure energy. Music that only needs a strobe and a fog machine. Like back in the days ;) Rave On!

‘Conflict’ opens the release with fast paced percussion, sustained atmospherics and frenzied high hats before ‘Arise’ weaves acid dipped synths into metallic clashes and hard hitting stabs. ’Timeless’ is next, painting haunting textures with stormy effects, leading into ‘END’ which swiftly builds into a powerful cut complete with growling bass. Tying everything together, Next Records founders NX1 remix ‘Conflict’, incorporating warped frequencies and a murky low-end.

Premiere: VII Circle - Conflict [HEX002]

VII Circle returns with a new EP composed of 5 monstrous tracks entitled "From the depths" and signed on the Spanish label HEX Recordings and scheduled for September 13th. All along this EP we rediscover the dark and post-punk aesthetic that defines the artist’s style, leading us into a dystopian world filled with aggressive tones.

"Arise" has an acidic vibe, led by a ravy saturated stab. We find again this uncanny, almost frightening atmosphere of a world on the verge of ruin.

The Newcastle born, London based label Jaunt serves ups a second part of its remixes series to mark ten years in action. After Inland, Jonas Kopp, Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff and Gian appeared on the first instalment, now come Tripeo, Aubrey, BNJMN and Markus Suckut with a versatile pack of techno quality.

Techno mainstay Suckut goes first with a big, bouncy version of AWOL's 54 973379, -1 614705 that is laced with uplifting piano chords. Inventive melodic master BNJMN then slips into dance floor mode with his tunnelling and deep remix of Artefakt's Wanderings. It is a hypnotic track that never lets up and then Aubrey reworks Luke Hess's TDY into a mind melting affair with looping, glowing styling lines spraying about over high pressure and urgent drums. Last of all, Tripeo reimagines Deep'a & Biri - Pilgrim into a punchy, hard hitting track with raw percussion and supersized drums that will rock even the biggest warehouse. This is high functioning techno in a range of equally compelling styles and marks another vital EP from Jaunt.
