Born and raised in Paris, HEYO funk is a Disco lover that learned his classics through 80’s mix from Frankie Knuckles and later evolved to Nudisco edits and House. Always trying to find a funky balance between original versions and latest edits, he puts an emphasize on vocals to create sets that will make the crowd dancing. That Disco Groove Guest Mix 015 - HEYO Funk

This episode starts slowly for a change with a few jams from the recent Yacht Disco Edits 4 comp, then I pick up the pace a bit later. Along the way I play something brand spanking new from myself that I’m pretty excited about. It’s so new that it’s not signed yet so it’s just a demo at the moment, but fingers crossed I can get it out into the world properly soon! I also play something brand new, amazing and joyous from lovely people Twin Sun, as well as new bits from Musta, Bereznoy and Disco Suicide Club.

For the second half of the show I hand things over to HEYO Funk, who brings you an awesome hour of disco vibes all the way from Norway. Origimally from Paris but now residing in Oslo, Hadrien is one half of Funtowear, is an excellent DJ, and also a brand new dad! So this mix is dedicated to Emil, and what a mix it is! Hadrien digs deep through classic disco cuts and newer edits and expertly blends them together to create something sparkly and gorgeous. I absolutely love this guest mix, and I think you will too.
