Currently one of the most versatile producers in the scene, Hamdi’s ability to produce a wide range of styles and genres has made him an exciting prospect for any label to get their hands on. Hamdi’s signature blend of Dubstep, UKG and Grime has earned him support from some of the biggest artists in the world, including Skrillex, Knife Party, Fred Again.., Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson. Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts, including DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. 

His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.

After years of heavy digging, BTKZR brings you new sounds from the past in the shape of DJ sets with outstanding Brazilian songs that you most likely have not heard before.

All the BTKZR tracks are extracted from our collection of Brazilian vinyl records. These were found digging on our numerous travels since the year 2000.

Our DJ sets will bring you soundscape music, afro brazilian, tropicália madness, the emotional depths of samba/bossa plus incredible beats and basslines, haunting vocals and spiritual songs from the South to the North of this great country.

In 2020 we played a few gigs abroad (Norway, Belgium) and toured in Brazil before Corona. The summer was spent touring and DJing extensively in Denmark with more than 20 gigs over the span of the summer.

In 2018 and 2019 BTKZR has Toured in India and Brazil, played Gilles Petersons Worldwide Festival, Mellotron in Paris, NTS Radio, bookings at Spiritland in London, Copenhagen Jazz Festival and much much more.

In 2017 Batukizer has played a score of major Danish Festivals: Roskilde, Stella Polaris, Metropol, Volume Festival. In addition events and major club nights with deep and magnificent music. A German tour, Yuka Club in Tunis, Alma Hotel in Barcelona.

In 2016 Batukizer has played at: Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Roskilde Festival, supporting legendary Azymuth in Copenhagen, warming up for Jorge Ben at Circo Voador in Rio, The Lake Radio, Jolenes in Copenhagen, SommerChill Festival.

In 2015 Batukizer has played in Paris, Neu Club São Paulo, Cph Winterjazz Festival (with Azymuth), The Lake Radio, Roskilde Festival, Søndagsvenner Festival, Distortion Festival, Ya'Ya' Hifi in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2014 Batukizer has played at: We Love Helsinki, Trailerpark Festival, Chill i Parken Festival and Sunday Friends.
