The sixth ensemble release is the debut artist EP of Rhythm Mind, a young Leefdaal raised dissident hiding in the Belgian capital. He delivers a solid five tracker that will as likely move feet on a peaktime dancefloor as nourish ears during early morning afterhour home listens.

All tracks were written and produced at Studio Bontinck in the last two years using the Akai MPC2000 XL, Tascam 464, Roland Juno-106, Roland JX-8P, Kawai K1, Roland TR-626, Roland TR-707. On the deep side, dreamy opener Mythic Dance’s power lies in the pairing of a well crafted, hypnotic machine groove with sweet, spirited melodies. Next up, the percussion led Levitate gently manoeuvres into the room, tip-toes through the dance floor and quietly exits, but not before the humming bassline has crawled into your head and hips. The deeper side kicks off with Footsteps. Reminiscent of Vincent Floyd’s early works, its elegant bass, soft spoken choir and dreamy strings play hide and seek with a rolling acid line, ultimately making way for it to step into the limelight. Unlike its title suggests, Try To Impress steadily bounces along, impressing by underachieving. A bold and physical drum track, it jacks and grooves like a potent Herbert workout. Rhythm Mind bids us farewell with Hibernation, a deep rhythmic electro cut from outer space.

Robert Steenkamer is known as a purveyor of exquisite house music. Under his Roberto guise, the Torontonian has released several landmark records. Besides this, he is known as a valued selector in his native Canada. The collaborative releases with Jex Opolis under their ‘’Conga Radio’’ moniker have received worldwide praise throughout the house community.For his Pulp debut, Steenkamer has created a diverse body of music that touches different moods and genres. 

On the A side, the opening track ‘’Inner Rhythm’’ is a orchestrated piece of work that uses an uplifting vocal cut and ethereal flute sounds to create a calm and positive dancefloor experience. Also on the A-side ‘’Swizik’’ is a melody-heavy work where Steenkamer uses fun sequences, euphoric pads and well balanced drum patterns. The title track is placed on the A3 position and is a genre-transcending cut. The tempo is low and the beats are dragging along with the well-executed pads and synth riffs. 

On the B side, the title track is being remixed by fellow Canadian ‘’ Flørist’’. On this remix, Flørist turns the slow vibe of the original into a soul touching dancefloor creeper that will definitely gain a lot of support in melodic circles. ‘’Remember When’’ is a positive work with a snappy bassline and oozing synth sounds. Glass Road EP will be available from all specialized retailers on March 29th.

Berlin-based music software technician by day and producer's producer by night, Iron Curtis (AKA Johannes Paluka), returns to Office Recordings for his third release on the label entitled 'And The Temper' EP.

Following his 'Upstream Color' LP late last year, And The Temper explores introverted tempos and timbres, while traversing a diversity of themes contained within six tracks, portraying a ying/yang of world-class analogue and digital engineering.

From the meticulously programmed acid lines and dissonant chords of '010103', through to the infectiously groovy and damn right funky-and-ridiculous 'Mars (Epoch Mix)', the EP closes out with a weightless cushion entitled 'Strategie '98', highlighting Paluka's on-the-fly jams and passion for purist machine funk!
